Hello All ! When I was diagnosed with Stage-3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) at just 29, I struggled to find other women of my age group going through the same experience. The desire to be a part of an online community (something which is literally non-existent in India) has been there ever since.
Cancer has definitely enhanced my gratitude and appreciation for life, but I will never be one of those people who say that it was the best thing that ever happened to them. On the other hand, I am grateful for some life lessons that came with diagnosis which has redirected me towards contributing to cancer care at large ,a path very different from one that I would’ve initially chosen for myself…
Now 4 years into remission I am here to share my personal account of diagnosis, treatment and beyond. A bit away from the facts & figures and a lot of amusing stories to tell about this roller coaster ride. I am grateful and happy to be here — in more than one sense.
I wish you loads of positivity, hope & humor in your own cancer journey.
