About the Breast category

The disease forms when breast cells mutate (change) and multiply uncontrollably, forming a tumor. If untreated, cancerous cells may spread to other parts of the body. Women who have a family history of the disease, who are obese or who have dense breasts have a higher risk of the disease. Symptoms may include a lump, skin changes, nipple discharge and pain.
